Exercise Finished Dog Training Center offers obedience classes from puppy training and beginner obedience for the family pet through upper levels of competition obedience training.

Puppy Training for puppies 8-14 weeks of age
Class offered: Wednesdays 6:00 & 7:30 p.m.
The goal of our puppy training class is to teach the puppy proper social skills and behavior necessary for being an enjoyable pet and companion. We use a motivational approach to puppy training. Classes combine puppy playgroup, obedience training and an introduction to puppy agility. Cost: $95 for 7 weeks of class (includes homework booklet, bait bag and clicker). Please no puppies the first week.

Puppy Training for puppies up to 5 months of age
Class offered: Saturdays 9 a.m.
The goal of our puppy training class is to teach the puppy proper social skills and behavior necessary for being an enjoyable pet and companion. We use a motivational approach to puppy training. Classes combine puppy playgroup, obedience training and an introduction to puppy agility. Cost: $95 for 6 weeks of class (includes homework booklet, bait bag and clicker). Please bring puppies the first week.

Beginner Obedience - Level 1
     Classes offered: Mondays at 5:30, 6:30, 7:30 p.m. and Wednesdays 10:30 a.m.
The goal of this class is to help owners gain control of their dogs through the use of basic obedience exercises and to teach their dogs to exercise self-control. Cost: $95 for six week class (includes homework booklet and bait bag). Class size is limited, pre-registration is required.

Beginner Obedience - Level 2
     Classes offered: Mondays and Thursdays (rotating start dates) at 6:00 p.m.
     Pre-requisite: Completion of Puppy Training or Beginner Obedience - Level 1
This class focuses on improving the dog's performance of basic obedience commands and improving day to day basic manners. Cost: $95 for six weeks class (includes homework booklet).

Canine Good Citizenship / TDI Preparation
     Classes offered:  Thursdays at 7:00 p.m.
     Pre-requisite: Completion of the Level 2 Beginner Obedience class
This class advances the skills learned in the previous class and places more emphasis on the dog exercising self-control. The goal of this class is to prepare the dog and handler for the AKC Canine Good Citizenship Test. Cost: $95 for 5 weeks of class and the CGC test during the 6th week of class (includes homework booklet). A separate fee and date will be set for TDI testing.

Spice of Life

Class offered: Thursdays at 8:00

Pre-requisite: Completion of Level 2 Beginner Obedience

Haven’t we all heard that variety is the spice of life? Join us for six weeks of fun, innovation and learning for you and your dog! In this class, you will get to try out all the different things going on out there for dogs. These include agility, Rally, Obedience, Flyball, Frisbee, Freestyle, Puzzles and Games, and Nosework. In a fun, non-competitive environment you will get a sampling of the different trends and dog sports, all the while learning excellent foundation skills such as building confidence, impulse control, focus, recall, loose leash walking and more! This is an awesome way to build a great relationship with your dog, have fun, and keep your dog behaving well. And, who knows, you could even find your next passion or hobby over the course of class! Cost: $95 for six weeks of class.

Noseworks

Class offered: Thursdays at 8:00

Pre-requisited: No prior formal training required, though you should be able to manage your dog in the presence of other dogs

Nosework is the new, fun and rewarding course you can take with your dog to keep his mind and body busy! We will be doing a combination of scent games and introductory nosework exercises. Part of the class will be done as a group, other parts will be done one dog at a time. For that reason, your dog will need to be comfortable relaxing in a crate for brief periods of time. You can bring your own or use one of ours at the Center. Bring high value stinky treats that are small - and a hungry dog! Get ready for some winter-time fun! Cost: $95 for six weeks of class.
